Goran Pichler has passed away in Zagreb at 81 years old. He was a prominent Croatian physicist and a full member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. His extensive career focused on atomic, molecular, and laser physics. His work contributed to both the domestic and international scientific communities. He also spent years teaching and mentoring generations of young physicists.
