Košice môžu prísť o všetky mestské časti: Rozhodnú obyvatelia?

Mayor Jaroslav Polaček sent a letter on October 22 to the government, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Council. He is seeking support to change the law regarding the city of Košice. The proposed change would allow residents to decide through a referendum whether to abolish all city districts. Current legislation does not provide for this specific option.
Primátor Košíc Jaroslav Polaček požiadal listom z 22. októbra vládu SR, ministerstvo vnútra, Národnú radu SR a jej výbor pre verejnú správu a regionálny rozvoj o podporu zmeny zákona o meste Košice. Zmena má umožniť Košičanom rozhodnúť v referende aj o zrušení všetkých mestských častí, keďže súčasný zákon s takouto možnosťou nepočíta.
