Onderwijscongressen zetten koers uit naar beter onderwijs
Suriname's national education congresses have produced a draft reform document, which President Jennifer Simons received on Monday 7 September. The text lays the groundwork for reshaping the country's schools with an eye on 2035. Its core aim is to move from teaching built mostly around subject matter to a more modern and higher-quality model. An action plan running to 2029 is on the way, with basic skills among the areas set to receive attention.
