Osun State's new panel for public peace has opened its doors to a stack of complaints. At its inaugural sitting, the Commission of Inquiry on Disturbance of Public Peace received 10 petitions. Most of the cases involve chieftaincy disputes and disagreements over land. The commission is expected to examine the claims and work toward calming tensions in the state.
