Police in Los Olivos have arrested two suspects accused of extorting transport drivers through illegal quota collections. During a search of a house, officers seized a firearm, six cell phones and as much as 540 soles in cash. The practice, known locally as cobro de cupos, forces transport workers to pay for the right to operate their routes. The seized items now form part of the case against the two men.
