Mohamad Sabu stated that the government has not ordered citizens to stockpile food for 72 hours. This follows a suggestion from the Federation of Malaysian Consumer Associations to keep such supplies. He urged the public not to engage in panic buying. He assured the people that food supplies are sufficient.
