An appeals court in Ajman has cleared a man and a woman who had been convicted of promoting sin on Snapchat. The original ruling ordered each of them to pay 250,000 dirhams, a combined fine of 500,000. After reviewing the case, the court scrapped that verdict. The judgment effectively ends the matter for the two defendants.
