The Croatian Pharmacy Chamber has urged pharmacies to stop using devices that claim to assess vitamin and mineral status. These tools lack a scientific basis and may mislead the public. There is a concern that such analyses are used to encourage the sale of dietary supplements. The chamber believes these sales often happen without a justified health need.
Hrvatska ljekarnička komora (HLJK) pozvala je ljekarne da prestanu koristiti uređaje za tzv. procjenu vitaminsko-mineralnog statusa jer nemaju znanstvenu podlogu, a mogu dovesti građane u zabludu i poslužiti za poticanje prodaje dodataka prehrani bez opravdane zdravstvene potrebe.
