Wholesale food prices in the Black Sea region saw sharp annual increases between October 16 and 31. Lettuce prices rose by 124 percent. Tomato prices more than doubled during this period. In contrast, some items saw price drops. Apples, pears, and lemons became cheaper. This data comes from a Ministry of Agriculture report.
