Archaeologists found over a thousand cannabis seeds in a 2,800-year-old tomb of Scythian princes. Tests on hair samples confirm the plant was used as a drug. This is the oldest documented use of the substance. The site also contained remains of a spectral ride described by Herodotus. The findings were published in Science.
