Aleksandar Vučić acknowledged that his party lost the early parliamentary elections held in Serbia on Sunday. The result ends 14 years in which he dominated the country’s political life. His party was defeated by a protest movement led by university students that has turned into an electoral force. Preliminary results showed a large lead for the student-backed list, and celebrations spread through the streets of Belgrade.
