Full story
Latvia faces a difficult decision following the announcement that Russia is allowed to participate in the ice hockey World Championship. The Latvian ice hockey federation must choose between boycotting the event or following the rules. A boycott could result in penalties. Conversely, participating would violate national laws that forbid the national team from competing against Russia.
