Police have arrested a man accused of cheating people out of 13.9 million rupees by passing off a gold-like metal as the real thing. The suspect, identified as Thapa, had escaped from Nakkhu prison on Bhadra 24 while serving a sentence for rape. Officers said he had been convicted and was serving his term when he fled.
