2027: Wike vows to deliver Rivers, FCT to Tinubu
Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has pledged to deliver both Rivers State and the FCT for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election. Wike governed Rivers for eight years and still holds serious weight in the state's politics. His declaration is an early marker of the re-election campaign to come. Since joining the cabinet, he has been one of Tinubu's most visible allies.
