The IMF has cut its growth forecast for Cambodia to 3 percent for 2026. Back in April the fund was still counting on 4 percent, so the new outlook trims away a full point of expansion. The same update warns that prices will keep rising, with inflation projected at 5.6 percent. The revised numbers came out at the end of September, according to the report. A 3 percent pace would mark a real slowdown for an economy that had been growing at well over 5 percent a year. Cambodia's exporters have faced tougher conditions this year, and the trimmed figure reflects that drag.
