DA boots No.4 Cape Town candidate before elections

The DA has terminated Cape Town councillor Abdulkader “AK” Elyas’s membership, weeks after he was placed fourth on the party’s proportional-representation list. The party has not clarified whether he will remain on the ballot for the 4 November local government elections.
