Tax reforms will end multiple taxation, say Kaduna gov, JRB Executive Secretary
Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and the Executive Secretary of the Joint Revenue Board, Olusegun Adesokan, have said the ongoing tax reforms will put an end to multiple taxation. They spoke at the 160th meeting of the Joint Revenue Board, which was held in Kaduna. Other officials present included the acting chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Lawal Mohammed Lawal, and Muhammad Lawal Abubakar of the Nigeria Revenue Service. Both men argued that the reforms will spare businesses and individuals the burden of overlapping levies from different tiers of government.
