ICC dismisses anonymous crimes against humanity petition against Nigeria, FG reacts
The International Criminal Court has thrown out an anonymous petition that accused Nigeria of crimes against humanity. The complaint arrived without a named petitioner, and the court saw no basis to pursue it. Attorney General Lateef Fagbemi, the government's chief legal officer, has been the public face of Abuja's handling of the matter, and the federal government has now reacted to the dismissal. For now, the attempt to drag Nigeria before the tribunal has gone nowhere.
