Chinese survey vessel spent 3 weeks inside Panatag Shoal – Tarriela
A Chinese survey vessel has spent 25 days inside the Philippines' exclusive economic zone, according to the Coast Guard. Rear Adm. Jay Tarriela, the service's spokesman for the West Philippine Sea, said Friday that the 76-meter Haiyang Dizhi Shihao is operating within the territorial sea of Panatag, also known as Scarborough Shoal. He described its activity there as marine survey work.
