A United Nations organization says the number of displaced people in Yemen has risen above 233,000, with most of them in Taiz province. It attributed the increase to the recent escalation by the Houthi militia. At the same time, cholera has broken out among displaced Yemenis in Djibouti who fled from the country's western coast.
