Yemeni government forces say they have repelled a Houthi infiltration attempt north of Taiz. Their account adds that troops shot down a drone at the al-Shaqab front, south of the city. The claims were not independently verified. The incident occurred in a front-line area where government forces and Houthi fighters are contesting control. Authorities described the operation as a failed infiltration and a successful defensive action. No information was provided about casualties, damage to the drone or wider changes in control around Taiz.
