Formic has raised 50 million dollars to expand its artificial intelligence robots in American factories. The Series B round was led by Mercato Partners and included debt financing from S2G Investments. This funding helps the company move from automating specific tasks to general-purpose robotics. The company's current fleet has over 750 thousand production hours. These robots are deployed in more than 100 plants.
