The Indirect Taxation Authority has approved VAT refunds totaling 8.6 million KM for first-time home buyers. Out of 533 decisions made, 413 have already been delivered to the citizens. The approved funds were paid directly into the bank accounts of the eligible homeowners. This financial measure helps people reduce the cost of their first property purchase. The government is processing the remaining claims. The program aims to support new homeowners.
