Kenija pranešė apie antrą mirties nuo Ebolos viruso atvejį
Kenya reported its second death from the Ebola virus on Friday. The virus spread from an outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo to Uganda and Nigeria. No cases had been recorded in Kenya until October 6. A Kenyan citizen who lived in the Democratic Republic of the Congo died after returning home. The Democratic Republic of the Congo announced its 17th Ebola outbreak in May. Since then, more than 9,000 cases have been registered there.
Po Kongo Demokratinėje Respublikoje (KDR) kilusio protrūkio, kurio atvejai išplito ir į Ugandą bei Nigeriją, Kenija penktadienį pranešė apie antrą mirties nuo Ebolos viruso atvejį. Iki spalio 6 dienos Kenijoje nebuvo užfiksuotas nė vienas šio užkrečiamojo viruso atvejis, kol grįžęs namo mirė KDR gyvenęs Kenijos pilietis. KDR gegužę paskelbė apie 17-ąjį Ebolos viruso protrūkį ir nuo to laiko užregistravo daugiau kaip 9 tūkst. atvejų.
