The family of 25-year-old Shyam Chand, a Nepal Army soldier from Bhimdatta Municipality-8 in Kanchanpur, held his funeral two months after he went missing in the Bhotekoshi flood. The flood struck on Bhadra 10. When no trace of him was found, the family used kush grass to create a symbolic body for the funeral rites.
