The official assigned to run the duties of governor of Northern State, Mahjoub Mohamed Sid Ahmed, met with a delegation from a technical committee tasked with preventing illegal collection. They discussed collection at crossings and checkpoints on national roads and ways to address complaints about multiple fees imposed on passing vehicles. The meeting was attended by the acting director general of the Ministry of Finance, Abdullah Al-Az.
