Nepal Bankers Association data show that 20 commercial banks disbursed about 141 billion rupees in loans in the first quarter of the current fiscal year, through the end of Ashoj. Global IME Bank was ahead of the other banks in the lending figures. The report points to a bank-by-bank breakdown of the loan disbursement.
