Ukraine's Defense Forces denied Russian claims that the village of Barylivka had been captured. The village is located in the Myropil community within the Sumy region. The 8th Air Assault Forces Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued the statement. They asserted that the village remains under Ukrainian control. The military stated that the Russian claims do not reflect reality.
