Ministry of Agriculture hosts training for farmers in Cayo to combat coconut pests and diseases
The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and New Growth Industries organized a two‑day technical workshop on coconut production at San Miguel Farms in Esperanza Village, Cayo District, on 21 and 22 October 2026. The training focused on combating coconut pests and diseases. It was delivered under the One Country One Priority Product (OCOP) programme. The event was held in partnership with the Food sector. Local farmers attended to improve their coconut handling practices.
