The Taiz Human Rights Center said the Kahlan area in Sabr al-Mawadim district, south of Taiz, is under intense and continuous shelling by the Houthi militia. It said shells were falling at a rate of roughly one every five and a half minutes, describing a dangerous escalation that targets residential neighborhoods and homes. In a published statistic, the center said about 11 shells fell in the area within one hour.
