The Yemeni government asked the UN Security Council to condemn repeated attacks by the Houthi militia on Aden International Airport. It urged the council to take deterrent and punitive measures to stop the attacks, protect civilians and civilian facilities, and ensure enforcement of the arms supply ban. The request was made in a letter from Yemen’s permanent representative to the UN, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Saadi.
