Senapred advierte posibles fenómenos tornádicos en O’Higgins y Maule por sistema meteorológico
The Chilean weather service Senapred warned that the O’Higgins and Maule regions could experience tornado-like phenomena. The alert was issued because a weather system is expected to move through the area. Between Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31, the agency forecasts thunderstorms extending from Coquimbo down to Biobío. Rainfall, hail and strong wind gusts are also predicted during that period. Residents are advised to stay alert for rapid changes in the weather. Emergency services have been notified to prepare for possible severe events.
