Karnali province collected more than 40 million rupees in revenue in one year from trade in medicinal herbs found in forests, pastures and Himalayan areas. The government earned 41,768,999 rupees from the sale and export of 58 herb species in the province. The trade covers herbs ranging from jhyau to yarsa.
