The Ministry of Finance, Economy and Manpower in Gezira State set the price of a liter of petrol at 11,330 pounds, with a gallon selling at fuel stations for 51,438 pounds instead of 42,000 pounds. Fuel distribution at Khartoum stations is proceeding regularly under strict controls. Diesel was set at 10,910 pounds per liter, with a gallon priced at 49,531 pounds.
