The Interior Ministry says it has prepared and submitted a draft law to reorganize the sector that transports patients, injured people and the deceased. The bill would give patients or their families the right to choose the receiving institution, whether public or private. It would also provide for billing health transport services, with the possibility of reimbursing those costs through health coverage bodies. The ministry described the bill as containing several legal changes.
