A bill to establish and run a national forensic science laboratory has been tabled in Nepal's National Assembly. The measure, known as the National Forensic Science Laboratory Establishment and Operation Bill 2081, originated in the upper house before moving to the House of Representatives. Lower house members debated it and sent it to the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee. With that stage done, the bill has come back before the National Assembly.
