In Wazirabad, within the jurisdiction of Sohdra police station, an accused was killed in an alleged police encounter by gunfire from his own companions, according to police. Police identified the man as Junaid and said he was involved in cases of rape against several minor girls in Wazirabad, including a six-year-old girl. The report says he was killed by firing from his own companions.
