The proposal aims to provide the current European Union Agency for the Space Programme, established in 2004, with a specific legal basis, to ensure the continuity of operations beyond the current (2021-2027) EU multiannual financial framework. It includes proposed provisions on the agency's governance and tasks in relation to the operation of EU space infrastructure and services.
