A 58-year-old Ste. Anne man drowned on Christmas Eve after his skid-steer loader fell through the ice on a pond in the rural community southeast of Winnipeg.

YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, shared that he and his girlfriend were rescued by an IPS officer and his IRS wife while nearly drowning in Goa. Both were caught by an underwater current but were saved by a nearby family. The experience left them deeply grateful and reflective.

Two passengers got into a fist fight while disembarking from a Scoot flight. In a 20-second video posted to Reddit on Tuesday (Dec 24), the two men were seen in a heated conflict while waiting to get off the plane. Crew members later intervened to stop the fight, following safety protocols, said the spokesperson, adding that there were no further disruptions to the passengers disembarking.  Scoot also reiterated its commitment to the safety and well-being of passengers and crew, and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
