Bishkek, June 17, 2019. /Kabar/. The Budget and Finance Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) has approved a draft resolution on the establishment of the Center for Public-Private Partnership under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Asian Development bank will provide grant funds in the amount of USD 30 million for its establishment. Deputy Economy Minister Eldar Abakirov said that the experience of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus had been studied. “The Center will deal with the development and implementation of public-private partnership projects, as well as provide training to government bodies employees,” he added. The Center will employ 15 specialists, of whom 4 to be funded by the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic. Read more
