Monrovia – A polling staff of the National Elections Commission (NEC) and a voter have been turned over to the Liberia National Police (LNP) for investigation. Upon their arrest, there were reports that the polling staff had issued a ballot paper pre-marked in favor of Senator George Weah of the Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC). However, an NEC source informed this paper that the polling staff “mistakenly issued two ballots to a voter instead, but the police opted to investigate the both. Of course there people who are on the wait to undermine the process.” More details to follow
