L'ampleur des incendies qui ont ravagé l'île de Maui à Hawaï en 2023 est la conséquence d'une combinaison de facteurs qui ont conduit la population et les autorités locales à sous-estimer les risques encourus, selon un rapport officiel publié vendredi. En août dernier, le gouverneur d'Hawaï avait annoncé qu'un accord à l'amiable avait été trouvé avec les personnes affectées par les violents incendies, qui toucheront 4,037 milliards de dollars pour renoncer à un procès.
