During working trip to Issyk-Kul region, Speaker of Parliament Dastanbek Djumabekov visited Issyk-Kul Oblast Hospital, got acquainted with condition of Altyn-Kul Hostel and checked out construction of school in the village of Chyrpykty, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported. This Oblast Hospital was built in 1975. During the first 33 years, the medical institution did not undergo major thorough repairs. The Issyk-Kul Development Fund allocated 18 mln soms for thorough repairs back in 2011. Doors, windows, sewerage system and electricity networks of the Hospital were replaced with these funds. At present, the Oblast Hospital's Infectious Disease Department needs major repairs. 13 mln soms are needed to repair it. The Hospital's laboratory also needs repair. Jumabekov during his trip also got acquainted with condition of Altyn-Kul Hostel and visited the unfinished school in the village of Chyrpykty. The unfinished object in this village is already 10 years old. 22 mln soms are needed for its completion. However, from year to year, the budget allocates a small amount of funds, which is desperately not enough for completion of the facility. Djumabekov promised to help to solve these problems. «Social objects have been and remain a priority for us. Schools and hospitals should be built based on modern realities,» the Speaker said.
