The premiere of feature film Oralman by Kazakh Filmmaker Sabit Kurmanbekov will take place in Bishkek on March 3, the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism of Kyrgyzstan reported. The picture tells about the fate of the Kazakh family living in Afghanistan. "A family had to flee from repression in Kazakhstan in 1930. Years later, the family gets a quota for resettlement in Kazakhstan and is going back,” the announcement said. The film Oralman is recognized as the Best Asian Film at the 35th International Film Festival Fajr in Tehran. The film also received Grand Prix at the XIII International Eurasia Film Festival in Astana and the Best Male Role award (Dulyga Akmolda) of the 13th Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, Russia, 2017.
