The Ministry of Marine Resources has organized one month training for 24 of its staff members from the six regions aimed at strengthening their capacity. Massawa, 06 October 2018- The Ministry of Marine Resources has organized one month training for 24 of its staff members from the six regions aimed at strengthening their capacity. At the concluding ceremony held on 3 October, Mr. Tewolde Kelati, Minister of Marine Resources, pointed out on the importance of close relation with fish farmers in the advancement of their activities and called for conducting fish farmers centered activities. Indicating that the research conducted by experts on the islands of Jemhile and Dahlak has significantly contributed in designing practical programs in cooperation with the Northern Red Sea region administration, Minister Tewolde called on the trainees to give due attention on the residents residing around dams so that they benefit from them. The D. G. of Fish Development at the Ministry of Marine Resources, Ambassador Tewoldebrhan Woldemicael on his part called on the trainees to practically upgrade the training they were provided. The representative of the trainees expressed readiness to apply the training they received for the benefit of country and people and transfer the knowledge to their colleagues. Read more
