MANILA, Philippines -- Jail units nationwide are set to strengthen efforts in raising awareness on the spread of dengue after the government declared a national dengue epidemic, the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) said Thursday. BJMP Chief Jail Director Allan Iral ordered jail units to coordinate with local health units in the conduct of anti-dengue programs in their respective areas.
